Observability and Observer Design of Partially Observed Petri Nets

Résumé

This paper investigates observability and observer design of partially observed Petri nets (POPN). By using methods for descriptor systems, two major contributions are presented. First, a novel algebraic condition for POPN observability is presented. Second, an asymptotic observer is constructed for POPNs which satisfy this algebraic condition.
