Monde réel et monde virtuel, la problématique du contrôle de procédé par un opérateur humain

Abstract : In control rooms of industrial processes, the human operator performs tasks by using graphical assistance tools. These tools provide him with an image of the reality concerning the installations. In this context, man-machine interface design and evaluation play a leading part in the efficiency of the global man-machine system. However, the final system can cause problems to the operator, for instance because the number of mental models involved during the design and evaluation processes. Our research works aim at solving some of these problems by using an approach based on the prototyping notion.
