Principes d'adaptation d'interfaces homme-machine dans les systèmes d'information en fonction du contexte et de l'utilisateur

Abstract : With the mobility, new needs have been found. Cellular phones, personal assistants and modern communication means, from now on, are using for the whole tasks of the users who wish using services specific to this mobility but as the same applications as on their work place. The need for plastic user interface becomes more desirable. This type of UI must adapt to the usage context, i.e. with the user, the platform and the environment without requiring costly redesign and reimplementation. This paper describes a plastic UI design approach which allows to generate UI and to adapt it dynamically according to the changeable context while maintaining its usability. UI design patterns are used to connect UI adaptation problems, multiple contexts to usable design solutions in order to better taking account the user. They are integrated in the proposed approach and are presented at the case study. The case study shows the design of the information system and the adaptation of the HCI during the information system using by a nomad user.
