Estimation stochastique d’un écoulement décollé en aval d’une bosse par méthode électrochimique

Abstract : The objective of the present work is to highlight the capability of the electrochemical method to stochasti-cally estimate the time-resolved instantaneous velocity field of a separated flow downstream of a shaped body.For this, synchronised measurements between the wall-shear stress and the velocity field have been undertaken.The instantaneous velocity field is obtained from standard Piv measurements. The time-resolved wall-shearstress, measured using the electrochemical method from distributed streamwise locations within the recircula-tion region, is used as observer for the stochastic estimation. The considered Reynolds number based on theobstacle’s height hand the upstream freestream velocity Ubis Reh= 580. A benefit of this method comparedto pressure sensors commonly used is the continuity between the wall-shear stress and the velocity field atthe wall boundary. The efficiency of this method to reconstruct the unsteady velocity field has, in particular,allows us to emphasise the flapping phenomenon of the separation bubble
