Dépendance paramétrique de l'écoulement autour d'une marche montante à hauts nombres de Reynolds

Abstract : The sensitivity to several flow parameters on near wall quantities of the flow surrounding a forward facing step at high Reynolds number is experimentaly investigated for 9 configurations. Particles image velocimetry Piv permitted to study the evolution of the reattachment points, located upstream and downstrean the leading edge, through Reynolds number based on step height ReH, constriction ratio CR and step height to boundary layer thickness ratio h/δ. The results show a logarithmic correlation of the downstream recirculation length function of h/δ and CR. In addition, the wall pressure signature of coherent structures was recovers using unsteady pressure transducers. It shows that the dimensionless frequency of both low and high frequency instabilities remains stable with the modification of flow parameters.
