Human-machine interactions in automated vehicle: Case of low speed lateral control sharing

Résumé
The work described in this paper is part of a research program named ABV where the goal is the automation of road vehicle at low speed while ensuring the sharing of driving between the driver and the assistance. This research focused on the problem of human-machine cooperation in the specific context of vehicle driving by offering different modes of cooperation considering the context of traffic, technical skills of the controller, as well as the distraction and the drowsiness of the driver. In order to increase the acceptability of the proposed system, a shared control mode has been proposed
