Active diagnosis for a class of switched systems

Abstract : This paper deals with active diagnosis for a class of switched systems which may not satisfy the classical diagnosability conditions. A Mealy Machine modeling is used to define an appropriate diagnoser which reduces the uncertain state subset. An algorithm combining the proposed diagnoser and a testing procedure is introduced to solve the fault identification problem. A study on the multicellular converter is carried out to detect and isolate faulty cells. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
