Explicit combination between Petri Nets and ergonomic criteria: basic principles of the ErgoPNets method

Abstract : The method proposed in this article aims to facilitate the re-engineering of existing interactive software by proposing a common framework for Software Engineers and Human Factors specialists. The method explicitly combines Petri Nets and ergonomic criteria. A case study of medication ordering in healthcare is used to illustrate the method.
