Analyse mécanique du procédé de perçage-laminage de tubes sans soudure

Abstract : The two-mills rolling piercing process is used to produce in seamless tubes an industrial way. The mechanism that leads to the production of seamless tubes is not well established. The aim of the study is to focus on the thermomechanical analysis of metal flow in the deformed regim. A general velocity field based on a power function for the axial component of the velocity field has been formulated. From this model, the velocity distribution, effective plastic strain rate distribution and the adiabatic heating generated by plastic flow have been evaluated. On the other hand, an analytical model has been established to calculate the temperature distribution in the piercing plug, this model has been compared with experimental results and gives very good results. A general software including all the models previously established, and a process oriented data base has been created. The software structure proposed is an evolutive one, with important possibilities for modifications and improvements.
