Moyens d'essais et de caractérisation de lois de comportement en dynamique moyennes vitesses

Abstract : Numerical simulation relative to transportation frameworks crashworthiness requires the knowledge of multiplicative work-hardening models' parameters. There identification is based on reliable experimental data from quasi-static to dynamic loadings. To verify the superposition of the experimental data extracted from no-covering devices, a method of improvement is proposed for a sheet specimens characterisation set-up using a high-speed hydraulic machine to through out the main natural frequency. An iterative experimental/numerical coupling is built. The access to plastic strain rates up to 300 s-1 becomes possible for metallic materials. In the other hand, a no-direct tensile testing device is lead using a split Hopkinson bars apparatus so as to reach a low limit closed to 200 s-1. An original tensile set-up using glued plate specimens is designed. The relations are confronted each over for the same strain rates, approximately.
