An improved robust state-feedback H control synthesis for uncertain discrete-time singular systems

Abstract : In this paper, a sufficient condition based on linear matrix inequalities (LMI) is provided to address the robust state-feedback H∞ control synthesis of discrete-time singular uncertain systems. By applying state-space model reduction techniques and small gain theory, more efficient control synthesis algorithms are obtained in comparison to other similar approaches. The complexity of the involved algorithms is reduced, whilst keeping or even improving the closed-loop performance. Finally, some examples are borrowed from recent literature to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
