Contribution à une approche C.A.O. produit : proposition d'un modeleur géométrique

Abstract : In order to allow the real integration of all the information necessary for the elaboration of a manufactured product in a CAD software and to respect the different levels of abstraction of these data, we propose a product model based on the features modelling approach. This model jointly implements a representation by construction tree and a modelling by the boundaries of the geometry of a part. Maintaining consistency between the models and exploiting their complementary features requires algorithms for evaluating the nodes of the construction tree, especially those for combining two objects modelled by their boundaries. The study of two existing algorithms shows that they are not adapted to the requirements of the defined product model, so we have considered a different approach, adapted to the specificities of our model. We detail each phase of the proposed algorithm and study its implementation constraints. We then proceed to a qualitative and quantitative evaluation compared to the equivalent algorithm of the C.F.A.O. software Euclidis.
